Spurs vs Thunder Game 7
PRESENTS....
"My Thoughts and Pick for
Spurs vs Thunder Game 7"
First allow me to start off by giving a
shout out to the
RLX RADIO NETWORK📡 Blog,
our new home for our
AllSportsBlitz Print Media.
Thanks to everyone involved for
giving us a home to officially write
and tell our stories. I appreciate you.
Now, let's talk Game 7!
Yep! We all saw it. Most of us
knew it. The San Antonio Spurs
tied the NBA Western Conference
Finals with a significant
118 to 91 win over the
Oklahoma City Thunder last night.
If you didn't see that coming,
then you chose not to pay attention.
The Spurs played with more energy
and a "Hell of a" lot more
physicality last night, in route to
a dominating win over the Thunder.
The win was well earned and
well deserved.
Victor Wembanyama gave you a
double, double with
28pts. and 10rebs. along w/ 3blks.
While, (Rokkie) Dylan Harper
was the second leading scorer with
18pts. coming off the bench.
The Spurs did force the Thunder
into several horrible offensive
possessions and the Spurs turned
that into efficient offense for
themselves. The Spurs as a total
unit took control of the game
early and did what was very
necessary to even the series at
3 - 3 and force a game 7
on Saturday at 7pm (cst).
Now, the Thunder...
You know.... I really do scratch my
head a lot when I'm watching basket-
ball games now. That's college and
the NBA. And the reason is because
the basketball IQ of today's players is
at an "all time" low.
Just watching the Thunder last night
made me think that, I don't believe
these guys, give a FUCK about
film study nor do they have a high
feel for the game.
I get it! Trust me!
I understand that the "Star" players
must get their shot attempts. Even if
that means forcing up horrendous,
off balanced shots and actually
believing those Shits will go in.
Watching Shai extremely force shots
up after dribbling 10 to 12 times
without passing (and missing) just
let me know that the Thunder had
zero thoughts about winning last
night. It was more about,
keep doing what we always do....
it will eventually work.
Completely Laughable!
Uhhhh.... NO!
That is not how things work out.
Yes the Spurs played high level
defense last night but I actually saw
the Thunder (as a team) force more
bad shots and make really horrible
passes, just trying to "Make a Play!"
This loss was definitely on the
decision making of the Thunder
players. These guys were
"Hell-bent" on not making in game
and on the spot adjustments to their
offensive possessions last night.
So, I'm putting 60% of last night's
loss directly on the Thunder players.
Now for my Game 7 pick
It may appear as if the Spurs have
regained the momentum of this series by
tying it 3 to 3 but... after watching the
last three games of this series, I'm
noticing that the Thunder really do
adjust well after a loss and have less
basketball, fundamental breakdowns
after a loss. I truly do believe that the
Thunder have a higher basketball IQ
than the Spurs.
With all that being said;
I'm taking the
Oklahoma City Thunder over
the Spurs this Saturday night to
advance to back to back NBA Finals
appearances to face the
New York Knickerbockers
for the NBA Championship🏆
